Thanks to a generous Youth Investment Fund grant in 2023, along with the dedication and hard work of key volunteers and local tradespeople, we’ve successfully renovated and upgraded our District Headquarters (DHQ) into a vibrant, community-focused hub.

 

What We Offer:

Our DHQ provides versatile, modern facilities for both Scouts and local community groups, creating a welcoming space for a wide range of activities and events. Whether you are planning a Scouting event, meeting, celebration, or community activity, our centre is designed to support a variety of needs.


Private Hire: 

The DHQ is available for private hire, offering a cost-effective and flexible space for meetings, parties, and community events. Hire rate: £15 per hour

 

Hire for Scouting Activities and Events: 

Scouting groups wishing to use DHQ should complete a Booking Enquiry using the link below. A member of our team will respond as soon as possible.

Discounted hire rates are available for Scouting groups providing activities for young people.

  • Smaller Activity Room: Cozy and comfortable with carpeted flooring, ideal for smaller groups or quieter activities
  • Large Outside Space: A spacious outdoor area for recreational activities and events
  • Two Separate Accessible Toilets: Convenient facilities for your group’s needs
  • Modern Kitchen: Equipped with a dishwasher, double oven, electric hob, fridge, and hot water boiler
  • Meeting Hire: Includes a display TV on a movable stand, a wall-mounted TV, and conference chairs and tables for a professional setting
  • UV Heating: Keeping the space warm and comfortable
  • Free Wi-Fi: Stay connected during your booking
