There are currently over 50 million Scouts, both young people and adults, across 216 countries and territories.

 

International experiences are a huge part of what makes Scouting special.

Whether it's attending a World Scout Jamboree, a World Scout Moot, or joining a community project abroad,

there are countless opportunities to get involved and experience adventure on a global level.

Crosby & District Scouts are committed to supporting our groups and young people to access international opportunities wherever possible.

We can help with information, guidance, or simply encouraging young people to dream big and go global.

Work or Volunteer Abroad Through Scout Camp Staff Programmes

 

Adult members can work or volunteer at Scout Centres worldwide — a great way to build skills, meet Scouts from around the globe, and experience new cultures.

 

🌍 Kandersteg International Scout Centre (KISC) – Switzerland

Known as the Permanent Mini Jamboree, KISC invites volunteers aged 18+ from across the globe to join their staff team, fondly known as 'The Pinkies' due to their bright pink uniforms. The Pinkies help deliver programmes, support operations, and live and work in the heart of the Swiss Alps. 🔗 Learn more: kisc.ch/staff

 

🌍 Boy Scouts of America International Camp Staff Programme - USA

Each summer, this programme brings Scouts and Guides aged 18-30 from around the world to work at BSA camps across the USA. Help lead activities, experience American Scouting, and share your culture with others. 🔗 Learn more: scouts.org.uk

 

🌍 Suncheon Asia-Pacific Scout Centre (SAPSC) – South Korea
